Littledrill brings products, people and places to life through conceptual, still life photography. Seattle raised and Brooklyn based, Shelby Edwards and James Lee Whitney, together explore objects and moods through vibrant colors and graphic presentation. Inspired by pop art, modern design and coastal cities, littledrill creates scroll-stopping concepts that are distinct varying from clean compositions to quirky and unconventional. They have had the pleasure of working with brands such as Target, Adidas, Interscope Records, Q-tips and more.
I was inspired by Littledrill's style on simplicity. The artist concentrates on commercial work and recreate them into pieces of art. Just like my artwork, I incorporate photography and design into my pieces. The website of Littledrill is simplistic, with a white background. The website has several different pieces of work, once you click on the photo, it directs you to a new page with more portfolio work under that sub section. The "what's up" page is very lively and has alot going on. It includes sections of the artist's latest and greatest work and a blog.
The contact page is simple has a form to fill out your information if you are interested in her work, possibly for commercial work specifcially. Littledril puts alot of attention on fashion, which she shows at the bottom of the "what's up" page.
